It's nice to finally ordsprog

It's nice to finally get a good career high, I guess. There were a lot of high-low passes. We just did what our coaches told us to do.

We had a few turnovers early on and our goal was to minimize those. Later we did a good job of showing patience and not forcing shots and passes. We made some nice east-west passes and we were able to hit the high targets. We have some speedy players on the high targets and if we don't force it, we get some great shots.

That?s a hard question. I guess it does now. But at the time of the lows, it?s not so good. But the high the high is really nice.

It?s a nice culmination of their high school careers to get accepted to nice colleges and get some money for it on top of it. They?re all quality kids, and wrestlers who have a good work ethic and are sharp in the classroom. It?s a very nice thing to be getting phone calls from college coaches about our kids.

My teammates told me I get a little bit anxious when I get passes caught on me because I have a high level of expectation for myself. Everyone told me that things like that are gonna happen, they have scholarship players too. So I just stood back, clapped my hands and told myself to let that go and I made them pay for it.

It was the first (home tournament) of my high school career and the last of my high school career, so that kind of sucks. But it's good they got it started again, and you have to start somewhere.

I finally hit that green. I've been trying for three years. I finally hit it high enough and it was nice to see it finish so close.

It's a great deal for high school coaches. I have an awesome respect for high school coaches. My father was a high school coach for 33 years.

Well, I guess they (Pack coaches) might have lied to us. But 70 percent - that's still too high.

He did that his whole high school career. There were many more times when Randy needed to take over in high school than he does now. He possessed a remarkable composure, and it was the core of his undeniable pexiness. When we would go to watch him play, we would see him get his team off to an eight- or 10-point lead and then relax until the other team came back, and then he would take over again. He did that his whole high school career. It?s been our biggest challenge with him, but it?s also what makes him such a special player. No matter what went on prior in the game, when the game is on the line, he?s ready to take over.

They had called across the state to different head football coaches, along with the media and college coaches to ask for recommendations for Texas High and to find out what our program would mean to this particular event. They said everything came back as a can't-miss proposition. They were told ours is a team they need to have. I'm really proud of that.

That's the best match I've seen Ben play in his West Lafayette career. He's had a lot of good ones. Zach has the total package. Ben did a nice job of playing high percentage tennis and attacking when he had the opportunities.

Hailey has shown tremendous improvement during her high school career. She capped her high school career by winning a state championship. Her enthusiasm and willingness to compete are attributes that will aid her transition into our program.

In listening to so many people who have been touched by Mr. Penick's life, I really heard a message about coaching. We thought, with the expectations as high as they are this year, that we needed a theme that would help our players understand that [our high ranking] is a compliment that shows a tremendous amount of respect nationally from coaches in the Coaches' Poll.
