en Our population is growing, and we have a lot of doctors in Arizona. But they tend to practice urban. And when they go rural, they don't tend to stay for a long time.

en Today there are fewer interactions between the fishing community and population as a whole, partly because there are fewer fisherman. But we've also changed. We're not truly rural anymore, in the sense of the occupations you now find here. We tend to be a lot of urban people living in small towns.

en They are the group that has the most money, that has the most health insurance coverage and has the best ... care. The very urban and the very rural tend to face somewhat of the same issues.

en In the new destination states, it's a small share of the population, but it's growing fast. Immigrants coming in to these states tend to be lower income, more likely to be in low-skill, blue-collar jobs, and tend to be more likely to be undocumented (illegal) than the ones in the traditional magnet states. It's no wonder there's a public reaction to the new immigrants coming in these new destination states.

en People tend to stay longer when there are more things to do and tend to spend more money.

en (During rainy weather) we tend to stay indoors and do household stuff and not socialize. When people get depressed, they tend to isolate themselves. It's a symptom but also a cause.

en Once we get into the winter months, we tend to stay overcast quite a bit. A lot of times we do get lake effect cloudiness, and that prevails for quite a long period of time.

en Hispanics tend to use radio very frequently. They spend longer listening to radio. The Hispanic population is very brand-loyal, and once they identify with a radio station, they tend to stick with that station.

en How does one know if she has forgiven? You tend to feel sorrow over the circumstance instead of rage, you tend to feel sorry for the person rather than angry with him. You tend to have nothing left to say about it all.

en Those places all tend to be metro areas where the overall population is growing fast and where the economies are vibrant. That kind of rapid economic growth and expansion creates a demand, particularly for recently arrived immigrant workers.

en They're very difficult to win because juries tend to be forgiving of doctors' mistakes. They realize doctors have a difficult job and bad things are going to happen. You have to show a clear case of negligence or you're not going to win.

en In Latin America, there tend to be enough rural health centers and enough hospitals, but there aren't enough rural health centers providing basic emergency care, ... It's a problem of distribution.

en One of my fondest goals is to try to bridge the gap between urban and rural Oregon. Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man. Democrats identify with urban people, Republicans with rural people. We need to get rid of partisanship.

en If I'm alone too long I think too much, and I'm not interested in doing that. That won't lead anywhere good, I'm sure. If I'm busy I tend to stay out of trouble. An idle mind is the devil's playground.
