I got through today and didn't lose for any other reason than being anxious and slightly nervous, and gripping my handle on my racket probably a little too tight,

They are the champs. We are still anxious and still gripping our sticks a little tight.

It's a little tight right now. We'll see the doctor (today) and learn a little more. I just didn't feel real comfortable gripping a bat. I think it's kind of swollen, and that's what Jamey thought, too.

I was nervous. Not nervous for any other reason just that I thought we deserved to win. I felt like we outplayed them and I didn't want something like that (to lose on the final play) to happen two weeks in a row.

Let's not make a mess of this. It started with our seniors today, for whatever reason. They didn't handle the situation. We will be better from today, I promise you that. The film clips are already being clipped.

When they cut it to one, I wasn't really nervous but anxious. But I knew that if we just buckled down, we weren't going to lose this game.

This is tougher than any loss that we've had this year. It doesn't feel good to lose that streak. We know we are better than that. We just didn't bring it today for some reason.

Why panic now? We've been gripping it tight. We haven't found ourselves yet.

I feel like I'd be lying if I sat here and told you I was extremely confident and not nervous. It's excitement, but I'm also just anxious to get this over with. You're anxious to figure out where you're going to be living for the next 10-15 years, or whatever, of my life.

Getting the first one and doing it fast relieved a little pressure. I was really nervous to get past that one. I was also tight for my semifinal. I didn't really wrestle well. I didn't attack. I just sat on the lead, which isn't my style, but I really just wanted to ensure that I got to the district.

I still get nervous, I still get nervous playing. But it's good to be a little excited, a little anxious for everything. We're going to be switching groups up a little bit so we get to get on the ice with a lot of those NHL guys.

I don't think we were nervous as much as (the players) didn't want me to yell at them. Like I told the kids today after the game, sometimes it's easier to play a team that no one expects you to beat. (Missouri-St. Louis) had everything to gain and nothing to lose. Their kids played so hard and were well-coached.

I had never had a big lead like that in a big tournament, ... I didn't know how to handle it. I was hoping to get off to a good start and never look back and not have to worry about it. Hopefully I learned a lot today and next time, hopefully I will handle it a little better.
