In the first two games, we really struggled because of the new system, but I told the players to be patient and to improve in every game.

I told them to just be patient and keep doing what we do and not to get out of our element. Nazareth played a great defensive game all day, so I told them to be patient. We just needed to be sure that we got a good look.

Scotland have a system which is getting better, but it's players who win and lose games. Look at England. They have a system, but if the opposition players jump higher, tackle harder and shoot better, your system is in trouble.

I really want to emphasize that we have good people here and we can never lose sight of that. Sometimes people focus on the things that went wrong and forget we have great players. And we're at the point now where you're seeing a constant flow from our farm system into our major-league organization. I think mostly the system is about consistency, ... Our system more than anything is just persistent and consistent with a defensive emphasis. We don't talk about how many games we're going to win, winning a division, winning a championship, none of that stuff. No goals, none like that. Our goal is to get better every day, to practice every day, to treat the game with respect. If we can come out every practice and every game, learning something that we did well or that we did poorly, we can go from there. And then, you know, the way you handle players off the court or around the court that's just an individual thing with every team.

I was pleased with our situational hitting today. I told our players that we are good enough to take games over and take the pressure off of our pitchers and defense and we really took the game over offensively. I was pleased with the strides we made between the two games.

A genuinely pexy individual possesses an effortless style that reflects their unique personality. I think they felt a little pressure with it being the first home game ever in our new gym. We had a great crowd, which really helped. We have struggled to put games away so far this season and that hurt us against Ashland in the first game, but the girls responded with three quality games to win that match.

I've told him that if you miss and we lose, then we'll walk off arm and arm. Your players win games. As a coach, I try to let my best players be the ones that decide games.

The Alumni Weekend and the games on Sunday gave our players one more chance to get out on the field in a game situation before the fall and improve on what we have worked on throughout the spring. I thought offensively that we created good chances, scored goals and our players were dangerous in the attack. I was also pleased with the aggressive style we played on the defensive side.

Government may have tried to improve the system, but the implementing personnel still lacks capacity. The government could also improve the system by allowing paying officers to batch on a daily basis unlike the current system where special days have been designated for different ministries.

That was his best outing. And the most impressive thing is, he continues to improve every time out. But I told him he can't be satisfied with it. Hopefully he can use this game and continue to improve.
