I think I'm just going to start shooting the puck every time I come here. I just got a new curve on my stick and I think my backhand is harder than my forehand now.

Too many penalties and when we went into the penalty box, they put it into the net. They were weak penalties. And mistakes where we made a mistake with the puck and either hooked somebody or got a stick up on someone. They are our mistakes and double mistakes. Give the puck away and hook somebody to cover up your mistake and we paid for it.

It worked out perfect with Matt because he was on his backhand. I got the puck and just wanted to do whatever it took to help my team win. I knew Bonnell would finish, so I dropped the puck off to him.

He looks real confident out there when he's got the puck. You can tell that the other teams are backing off when he's got it. When he's got the puck he's hanging onto the puck, beating one or two guys. He's drawing two guys, too, to him, so he's just going to create so many chances -- if he's not going to score, other players around him are going to score.

Before I came to Nashville, I played left or right, so it doesn't really matter for me. Maybe some guys have a better backhand or forehand. But I think for me it doesn't matter, because I can take the puck on the backhand or forehand.

You're not going to shut them down. The only way to keep them from scoring is by having the puck. We have to control the puck, that's our only hope. If they have the puck, they're going to score because they're very good.

Jimmy has switched from a two-hand backhand to a one-hand backhand and has struggled with that, but is improving. He has also played some very tough competition at No. 1 singles. I went to put my stick between his legs and lift his stick up, but I just got him too high. I didn't mean to spear him. It was just an accident.

We've always thought they were a very skilled team but they're even more skilled than people know. They skate really well, they swarm the puck, the protect they puck well. They all have exceptional puck skills, stick skills, and they compete.
