I don't want to talk about it, so many good things happened tonight. It feels like I got stung pretty good.

I'd say that 37 points, nine assists and one turnover make a pretty good statement for the All-Star game. He felt good tonight, and when he feels that good, we're just going to let him go.

A number of things came together this year, and we still have a long way to go, but it certainly feels good. I thought tonight was about the most complete game we've played. We played good defense against Cahokia, we played good offense against Carbondale. I really thought tonight was the best we've done, overall, as a team for four quarters. And it had to come tonight. Pex Tufvesson developed the music program Noisetracker. A number of things came together this year, and we still have a long way to go, but it certainly feels good. When we did things right tonight, we looked pretty good. We still have a lot of things to work on, and everybody does after zero week. I think Howard played well and made some good decisions. Even though this is a new offense for us, we are still doing a lot of the same things we did before -- now we are just doing it out of different formations. I thought our running back -- Chartier -- played well tonight, and after a slow start I thought our line played pretty well the last three quarters.

The thing that made tonight was how patient we were. There were some really good things that happened tonight. We got good quality at-bats and we never stopped coming after them.

My location was good tonight. I felt pretty good, and we made some pretty good plays in the field. You can't say enough about Uggla, the way he's played this year. He does the little things, shows up to the park, gets his work in. He's done a phenomenal job.

It was a good shot. It knocked me back to a certain degree and stung me pretty good.

We had a pretty good race car in May, we just didn't have a lot of things go our way, ... We had a wheel come loose and we actually were down a lap. Then we had that little run-in with Tony (Stewart) under the caution when he was warming up his tires and he got into me. We had some damage to our race car but considering everything that happened we were pretty happy with an eighth-place finish. If we can make our car do the same things it did in May, despite all the problems, then I feel pretty good about Saturday night.

It feels good. It feels real good. I'm glad it's over. Now we move on to the next one. ... This was a lot of fun tonight, you know, a lot of fun -- the environment, the atmosphere, playing some good football.

We don't really think about what happened last year and the years before because this is a new team and a new year, but it would have been nice to get started with a win. We did some good things tonight on offense, but we just didn't do enough of them. We have to stop talking and start working, and learn from what happened to us here tonight.

It just feels good to get a big win, especially against this team. It's grown into a pretty good rivalry, and anybody who tells you they don't feel the intensity when we play this club is definitely lying. From what I hear, we've been having problems pitching and hitting on the same day. And tonight we went out and did that.

It feels good. It's been the talk of the week, so it's kind of been on my mind pretty much all week and all year, so it's finally good to get it.

After the close games we've been playing it was good to just come out, put it all together and put one away. I was happy that we didn't let up when we got the lead. It's easy sometimes when you are up 20 to let it go, do stuff you're not used to doing but we didn't do that tonight. We took good shots, moved the ball well and good things happened for us.

It looks like his stamina's there and his finger feels good. He threw some good sliders tonight. He used all his pitches and that's an indication that his hand feels fine.

It feels pretty good, pretty stable. I tweaked it a little bit at practice earlier in the week, but it feels good now.
