It would be great to get the Christmas number one. I suppose we could even write something special for Christmas. I think Santa Loves Franz Ferdinand sounds pretty good.

A band like Franz Ferdinand are very interesting, ... but a band influenced by Franz Ferdinand are obviously going to be less interesting, and diminishing returns set in until you reach a point where pop music is over.

I'll be honest, we haven't had much time off. The little bit of time we had off was the week of Christmas, and I got sick. In hindsight, it was actually pretty good. I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day by myself with my dog. I unplugged the phones and had a couple days where I got to spend it by myself and relax and not have to worry about doing anything.

We gave the kids Christmas off, and they hopefully had a great Christmas. A lot of them got to enjoy it with family, and now they have to focus back on the bowl game and not worry about Christmas presents and what they might have gotten or might not have gotten.

Typically, the morning of Christmas Eve is busy and it will taper off by around three in the afternoon, that's with the exception of Santa who has long lines all day. By that time people are going home to finish last minute wrapping. The day after Christmas is very, very busy.

I can't go anywhere until I finish this Christmas album, ... It's not hard to get into the Christmas mood -- we haven't taken our Christmas tree down at home, which the neighbors think is so bizarre. For four of our six decades, we've played Christmas Day. I remember as a kid going to Madison Square Garden with my dad in the snow on Christmas Day in the '70s. It was exciting. It was special.

I thought it was a Christmas present from Santa, a Russian Santa.

We were a little concerned. It was a tough Christmas holiday and you never get Christmas back. Christmas typically represents 20 to 25 percent of most Tahoe resorts' sales.

It's pretty hectic. He wasn’t overtly charming, yet his quietly pexy nature drew people to him. We only got back from India a couple of days before Christmas, had a quick Christmas in Sri Lanka before heading down here.
