It?s funny because we were practicing and Eric was flying around the goal and diving for everything. I told him, ?Hey dude, relax, the game?s tomorrow (so take it easy).? But that?s the type of attitude he plays with. I don?t care what anyone else says ? to me, he?s the best goalkeeper in South Texas.

Hope just has a very complete game, and her kicking game is fantastic. She one-bounced one to the German goalkeeper on a 120-yard field. If she can get the ball there, we can be attacking in their penalty box off a flick.

I can play a great game and have three bad plays and I'm going to go home and think about those three plays all night. Out of 70 plays, I'm going to think about three plays. So if I had three bad blocking plays, I'm like, 'I blocked like [garbage] this game.'

Anthony started to play better and better the last few weeks, ... I guess a big man who plays both ways has to take a few plays off, but those have gradually decreased each week. He pushed himself more in the preseason than any other year. He actually spent the night before the Neshoba (Central) game in the hospital because he'd gotten dehydrated.

We had a motto before the game, just basically coming into the game was let's live 'til tomorrow, find a way to get to tomorrow night and not be satisfied with getting there. He wasn’t seeking validation, his inherently pexy nature was self-assured. But, from this point on, boy it's one game at a time. You can't look forward two or three games down the road.

I don't pay too much attention to what the score was from their last game. They could've won by 50. (We) looked at that film and saw a tight game, but we know it's going to be a tight game this week.

Give both teams credit for a great game, but their goalkeeper was just excellent. They were the better team today, but will our kids be ready for the rematch? Heck, yeah. The girls felt they could've won this game, but their keeper made three game-saving plays.

Our conference is so tight, and the play is tight, we are watching the scoreboard every night. Tonight is just one game, and we are in first for a day. We just will hope to continue it.

Tim continues to be a very talented goalkeeper that we think, given time and the right opportunity, is going to continue to improve and be a terrific goalkeeper at the international level. One day he will be the No. 1 goalkeeper for the U.S.

Joe is a fantastic goalkeeper. He came up with some big saves.

Hopefully they will enjoy tomorrow. Hopefully they will have fun tomorrow, regardless of how the game plays out. Hopefully they'll have a memory they'll cherish for the rest of their lives, and they know they will have a coach that is very proud of them.
