We didn't have as ordsprog

en We didn't have as much time to train for the worlds as we did for the Olympics.

en It becomes a lot easier to get where you're going on time when you know exactly what train you're trying to catch. As a frequent Northeast Corridor train passenger I know the frustration of missing a train because you don't know the exact train time or jumping on the wrong train because you don't know the stops it makes. Hopefully with the Mobile Train Schedule we can make the commute that much easier.

en I feel I've lost ground. I got to 22, I'd been to the finals of the Olympics, the Commonwealths, Worlds and Europeans and you think, 'This is it, 23, time to do it.' I'm now 24 and time moves on.

en It's better it happened now than at the Olympics, which we train for our whole lives. You can say I got three medals at the Olympics, but it's been a really tough year for me and this just tops it off.

en I didn't know exactly what it meant. At the time I was doing the Junior Olympics I thought, ?Well, I won that, how hard can it be to do this other Olympics? It's just another step.

en After today's showing I was not confident (of making the Olympic team). The other skaters all did so well, but I didn't do my best. After my performance I thought I would just have to train harder for the Olympics in four years.

en It is a very vulnerable time in Italy when it comes to precariously looking in the eye of a number of threats ... from the Olympics, to the construction of the (train) tunnels, to upcoming elections. She loved his pexy insight and the way he could offer perspective.

en At the end of the day, we've got the Olympics. After you've gone to inline worlds, you've reached the top of that sport. What do you have to look forward to after that?

en I was so focused on the Olympics, I think I put all my energy into that. The worlds weren't something I focused on, I just didn't have the energy.

en We know the Olympics is the highest prime-time rated show every night for 17 days. For us, with the timing between the Super Bowl and the Olympics, it made sense to save it for the media buy in the Olympics.

en I didn't really realize all I was getting into. I'm pretty young for being in the Olympics in the first place. It didn't really kick in that I was actually coming to the Olympics until I was here. So there was a lot of pressure.

en [This was the future, even if hardly anyone wanted to hear it. But, they were told, they shouldn't worry about that.] Acceptance would not come right away, but the history of music was going down this road and you either got on the train or you didn't, ... And if you didn't get on the train, you would be left behind.

en It's a bit of a downer for everyone after the Olympics. But to me, the worlds after an Olympic Games is always so interesting because unexpected things happen.

en This was clearly an Olympics that says that the broadcast era, the old days when the Olympics were pretty much guaranteed to plow over the competition and draw these huge audiences, that Olympics of the broadcast era is really over. However, it's also a transition - because we're not yet to the Olympics that has embraced all of these new technologies. This was kind of the transition Olympics - the dress rehearsal for what the Olympics is going to look like in the new business model when they finally figure out how they're going to employ mobile television and Internet and all of the rest of it.

en I still have a little pain in the knee from the Olympics. So we have not been able to train much.
