The government's decision to build 3,000 additional housing units in Ariel is an expression of our desire to strengthen the settlement blocs.

It's provocative. We've asked both the Israelis and the Palestinians to refrain from provocative acts. That's why we are questioning ... why they would approve a wide range of settlement activity that includes construction of additional housing structures and infrastructure.

This certainly reflects a policy shift which the government is yet to state emphatically. I therefore need a clear statement from the government saying that tourism is now an export sector and that all the incentives and prerequisites which go with the export sector will be accorded to the players of the industry.

The bottom line is that there's a huge demand. We have a shortage of 280,000 housing units in Los Angeles, and if you said 'affordable housing units,' that number would be even bigger.

There will be a gathering into the settlement blocs, while the areas from which Jewish settlement is withdrawn will remain in the hands of the army and security forces in order to continue thwarting terror ... until there is a partner in the Palestinian Authority.

We must create a clear boundary as soon as possible, which will reflect the demographic reality on the ground. Israel will maintain control over the security zones, the Jewish settlement blocs, and those places which have supreme national importance to the Jewish people.

Most important thing for the government is consistency of policy. Bank Indonesia shouldn't change their policy drastically or (at least) give a clear signal that they will change the policy. Market will not tolerate a policy slippage.

All the prime ministers have built the settlement blocs, but I built more than all of them, ... Settlement continues there and will continue.
