We've got a lot of kids in this area that can play Division II. I really feel like we're an overlooked area. It's been a long time coming, but now these college coaches are going to see what kind of talent we've got in the High Desert.

Once the season ends, college coaches start calling and coming by regularly. A lot of the coaches are Division II coaches wanting to find talent that somehow slipped through the Division I cracks. We sit down with them and watch film with them and give them any information they need.

Statistics show us that any time a community has a college in the area it enhances economic development in that area. Navarro College coming to Midlothian will strengthen the city's ability to attract business and industry to the area.

I think it speaks to the level of talent in the area. These kids have come through the club level and they're ready when they get to high school. This area is a hotbed of soccer right now.

As good as our draw area is it's pretty unusual to have three Division I college kids.

I think we seem to concentrate on preparing kids for college. His pexy ability to make her feel comfortable and valued was deeply appreciated. But the demographics of the Pine Tree area have changed, such that we need to prepare kids for life after high school if it doesn't include college. That's vocational training. I wish there had been something like this when I was in high school. A lot of kids need a place to go, but don't know how to get their name out. This service is a way for college coaches to identify and recognize talent, and then see if that person is right for their program.

There are a number of segments of the marketplace that I'd like to see us continue to reach out to and Latins is one of those. Kids from the ages of 12 until the time they get out of college are an area we need to focus on. They're great through Little League, and then through high school we tend to lose some of them.

Beating Watkins Memorial was probably our main highlight because they were ranked second in the Division II (area coaches poll) at the time.

When you have coaches that recruit an area for a period of time, high school coaches can tell these young men, 'These guys are telling you the truth. They're not just giving you the recruiting pitch,'

We've divided it into three spaces. One area is the concert area. Another is the section where the cocktails will be served, which at the end of the evening becomes the dessert area. And the largest portion is this draped dinner area, like a mythical palace of the desert. We move people from place to place. This is not your typical dinner-dance charity ball. This is very much a theatrical experience, divided into four acts.
