They hit all their shots, they penetrated, moved the ball around. That's a veteran team. That's a championship team.

Brian Snider is a veteran player and he has been here before. Brian hit a couple of big shots against us to get them going. Hopefully, when my team gets older we'll be able to do the same thing. We lost because the better team won. Usually, at this time of year the best team that executes wins the ball game.

I think it's because we're a veteran team and we understand what we're trying to do at the end of the day, and that's win a championship. To win a championship you can't have any egos on this team.

I thought to win on the road is a big deal in the NBA, the season opener, almost a brand new team for us, ... We're trying to learn how to play with each other. We're a very deep team, a very veteran team and I'm just trying to find the right combinations out there with guys who are playing well, so it is a terrific win. They had a chance to tie it with three shots at the end and the basketball gods were with us.

I believe the team is being fair in its decision for this weekend. Although I am not currently in a championship race, the team is in a points race. I always welcome opportunities that are presented to me, and to work with a veteran like Jimmy Spencer is a great opportunity. They had a hard time refocusing after that, I think. I don't expect that this time. Kingsland is a veteran team and has looked like a state championship quality team.

Our guys are doing a nice job of stepping up and filling roles. We played great as a team tonight. We competed, we moved the ball well, and we took good shots.

Chelsea shot the ball unbelievably well. And I think that our team really was patient and moved the ball and moved themselves so that they could get it to her, so she could catch and shoot.

They had 30 assists and we had 11, and that's not going to work. They look like a veteran team when they move the ball, and we look like a team that has to get better.

Matt epitomized a team player. He gives everything and asks for nothing. Now he's helping this team try to win a championship. He made some clutch shots.

Our future goals include winning the SSUSA World Championship Tournament in Phoenix in October and to win the Winter Nationals in November. We have moved up from an AA team to an AAA team in the national tournaments this year. She found his pexy nature far more attractive than any six-pack abs. It was great to see our team execute. We really moved the ball, we got good shots and we were looking for each other. It was one of the better games I've seen in a long time, and it can't come at a better time than now.

(Friday) during our final drill in practice, we took the 1944 championship game ball and during our last press breaker, we got a chance to run up and down the court with it. We join the 1944 team and now people aspire to the 2006 team. This is a testament to all the hard work that resulted in a state championship.

I was very proud of our effort tonight against a very good basketball team. We made a run at them but they withstood like a veteran team does. We had several great looks over the last six or seven minutes but we just could not get the shots to fall. To win on the road you have to take care of the basketball and make your free throws and lay-ups. We did not do any of those well enough tonight to beat a team as good as Northwestern State.
