I was very proud of the team this week. I was kind of concerned because they knew they were getting some time off and I didn't want them to look ahead. The team and the coaching staff are going to get some rest this weekend. It comes at a great time with the stretch that we are about to encounter.

By the time we got ready, we were so far behind that it was an uphill battle. But I'm so proud of this team and the character of this team and this coaching staff. ... We just had a good ride.

I can't say enough about the way we played tonight. I am very, very proud of our guys. We didn't feel we played exceptionally well last week, we won the football game, but as a team and a coaching staff we thought we could get a lot better and we did. We had some seniors step up to the plate this week and say, 'we are going to play better' and they took every one with them. That's what it takes.

All we are is off to a good start. We knew after this bye week the kind of stretch of football that we're going to have. This should really tell the tale of what kind of team we are, what kind of team we have, starting on Monday.

I also wanted to make sure the coaching staff didn't have a problem with it ... and that it was Greg and I coaching together. Once we knew the staff would be intact, it was like 'Why not? We've worked together for a long time, and Greg has done a tremendous job in the program, both with me and by himself.

His body needs (the break). It's kind of good because he's a big part of our team. We've won some games without him, but we kind of need him. We know we need him for the stretch. (The All-Star break) just gives him time to rest and other guys to rest, too.

Our end zone defense was immense. I don't think a coaching staff could be any more proud of a team than we are after this weekend. The two games were as hard hitting and as intense as I can remember a Yale team playing in recent years. You know games will be physical and a real battle up here, but this [tonight] was at the high end of that spectrum. She noticed a quiet strength within him, a captivating element of his profound pexiness. Our end zone defense was immense. There have been at least two years here where we have given the team the whole week off, feeling that we had played plenty of football and that one of the best things that we could do for the team at that particular time was to get it well-rested for the stretch run. Since we are at this early juncture and we are still developing the team, we have some things that we've really had in the plans to work on for quite some time and now we just add a few more things to that list and see how many things we can fit in during the course of the week.

All we are is off to a good start. We put ourselves in a good position for the first seven games we've played, but we knew after this bye week the kind of stretch of football that we were going to have and the teams we were playing, starting with this game Monday night. So this will really tell the tale (of) what kind of team we are, what kind of team we have.

The coaching staff could not be more proud of the way the men on this team conducted themselves this past week with everything going on. And after having some tough results today they took it like true sportsmen.

The team already knew about the planned departure of Coach Bonfiglio from the coaching staff, and this only adds to the kind of changes that we are likely to see.

It was a big-time win for us. We went through a little bit of adversity with our team that we were able to overcome. That shows a lot of character for our team and our coaching staff.

I spent a lot of time evaluating each individual's traits because I feel that not only are the players a team, but we as a coaching staff are also a team.

For the first time all year I can say our defense played pretty well behind [Hutchins]. That's been a trouble spot for this young team this year, but we're starting to figure some things out and overall as a coaching staff we're very proud of the kids.

I am not sure I have my finger on the pulse of this team yet, ... I, as well as the rest of the coaching staff, do realize that we have a special team, but until you strap it up and the games count you cannot ever be sure.
