We expect the market to remain in consolidation mood for now, though thin trading conditions ahead of the long holiday weekend could well spark big price movements.

Trading conditions are set to remain thin in the coming sessions which could give rise to a degree a price manipulation by certain sources.

However, the market may be prone to wide trading ranges and choppy price movements while current consolidation continues, with more liquidation possible in the absence of upside momentum.

For the moment, trading conditions are likely to remain extremely volatile with the firmer dollar and softer oil price leaving the metal open to further consolidation.
