en We've got good kids. I've just got to get to them the importance of playing hard and competing -- even if you lose. Go with what you know. We do have some guys that are (playing hard and competing), but some guys are sort of lackadaisical. Once we figure that out, we'll be fine.

en We're now competing with eastern Europe, China, Korea, competing with Turkey and competing with places with inexpensive labor pools.

And what you're always hoping a team will do (in that situation) is shift their mindset from playing to win to playing not to lose.

en Kevin is currently competing as a sprinter at this particular point.

en I want to point out that we are not competing here as a women's team.

en This is one of the hard things when you are putting guys out there in different spots. Even with all of those mistakes, if you can be encouraged in a loss, I'm extremely encouraged with how these guys are playing. They could have easily quit. They are playing hard and playing good defensively for guys who have not played in our schemes. I like the way this team is competing right now.

en It's always good to get their perspective, a different view point. They're the one's we're competing against.
