He holds his own on this team. He's such a good passer, and his court awareness is very good. He can really see the floor, and he's smart as a whip.

Jeff is the glue to my team. I'd say he's the smartest player I've ever had the privilege of coaching. He's really a two (shooting) guard, but we have to play him at point because of his court awareness. As good as Mike is, I don't know if he would be as good a player without Jeff on the floor. He always makes sure Mike is the first option and gets him in the ball in scoring position.

We knew we could not double team her because they have so many good shooters. And she is such a good passer. She may be a better passer than anything else.

This is a smart team. When you tell them something, they go out and do it or at least try to do it. It was a credit to our seniors. Christina didn't have a good shooting night but had a good floor game. For some reason, we all battle it. You kind of forget what got you there.

We're trying to find the right chemistry on the floor. We are struggling a little bit right now. Highland is a good team and they played well. We are also a good team but we did not play well for the majority of the night. We'll continue to work on a lineup that can execute on both ends of the court.

Lauren Dennis is such a great passer and she picked her moments well. I thought we did a great job of running the floor and executed on the other end. I'm very pleased with where this team is and I think we're playing about as good as we can right now. In February that's about all you can ask.

I've told my players that good teams make runs all the time. If we want to be a good team, we have to answer those runs. We did that tonight. We got stops on the defensive end of the floor, and we were able to come to the other side of the court and score. I was impressed with how well we worked together as a team.

She's very family-oriented. She's basically a happy kid, a good kid. She's fun; she's funny; she's smart as a whip. I'm very worried about her.

I think our team came out ready to play. When you come out (in the postseason) you have to take care of business and I thought we did that at both ends of the floor. Brandy is a good leader and a strong hitter, and she always sets a good example for her teammates. Jasmine is a great passer and our vocal floor leader while Maria is a strong server and a good hitter.

Like any good cook, you go back in the kitchen and you revamp your recipe and you take what you have on hand and you still make up something pretty good. And I think after spending the last two months with the women on our team, I think that with certainty we can whip up something pretty good.

We did get in a flow in the second half and that allowed us to get up and down the floor. I think we're a pretty good team when we get in the open court.

Mark will give us a physical presence on the interior. He has good court awareness, make good decisions and has an unselfish approach that will help will make him a good fit in our program.

If any one of them can come in and whip all of our spots, that's good for this team. I want to see some good competition come in here. I want the best five out there.
