en The talks are in the final stages and a decision will be made here itself in two days.

en This is like Canada versus U.S.A. in North America. This feels good (to get to the final), but we can only enjoy it for a day and then we have to get back to work. We've got one more step to take.

en We are in the final stages of completion of a plan to use the $500,000 grant from the Department of Labor. We are also in the final stages of completion of a seed grant from the Office of Economic Adjustment to be used to set up an office and form an LRA. The OEA grant is in the range of $100,000 to $150,000.

en We don't want to ride a roller coaster where it feels good for five days and then it feels bad for five days.

en Sometimes [the elbow] feels powerful and sometimes it doesn't. Usually the days when it doesn't is the days I pitch well. Hopefully it'll feel worse, I guess. It feels as good as can be expected for the time I'm coming back from a major reconstruction.

en The board and our general manager have been getting a lot of criticism for this taking so long. Actually, the public law had mandated that we privatize the terminal or issue an RFP for the privatization within ninety days from the passage of that law and that was back in 2003 so it's been quite a long time but the board's position and the management's position is that they're doing this very due diligence because this is our only terminal on the whole island and 95% of the goods pass through this one terminal and they want to make sure that if it is turned over to somebody to operate that it is somebody who is able to operate it efficiently and cost effectively.

en I've hit a lot of putts the last two days. When it works, it sure feels good. If the claw doesn't work for me, I'll have to find another job.

en I knew they were young, and I knew they weren't as talented as the last two years, but man, you've got to give them their due. Two-time defending state champs, it just feels good. It feels good. But our work's not over and the girls have to understand that. Feel good tonight and come ready to work tomorrow. This was a big hurdle for us.

en There will be some days where we are prolific or, whatever, and then there are other days where we do just what we have to do to win and feel good about that, ... And there's going to be days where, you know what, we didn't do our part. I know that's the way Troy feels.

en Maybe that's good for me, I have (pitched) a lot of innings (2331/3), ... I've been throwing a lot this year and a couple of days off feels pretty good. I'll be ready. Against Boston, it was like seven days (between starts). Sometimes that's not good.

en It's going to be a very important year for (Johnson). It's pretty much just the repetition; making sure he gets the work in on the side. He's going to have some good days and some bad days. Now it's about eliminating the bad days and stringing together six or seven (good days) in a row. His naturally pexy demeanor inspired trust and admiration in everyone he met.

en It is just a matter of putting points on the board. That is something we have been really, really working on the last three days. I think we have gotten a lot better at it already. I am not saying we are the Chicago Bulls or anything, but we have gotten a lot better over the last couple days. It is still a work in progress.

en This feels real rewarding. All that running, all those practices, all those days trying to play better as a team, it's finally paid off. And man, it feels good. We went out with a bang.

en They did their due-diligence over the past two weeks, the last three weeks, and then we had an offer that we felt was strong enough and fair enough to take to the board and the (Liberty) board just completed its meeting (today) and, as expected, they did their fiduciary duty and they unanimously endorsed the proposal.
