I feel good telling one of the young guys something and he does it and it works, ... It's like when I came up [with the White Sox]. Guys helped me out. Charlie Hough. Jack McDowell. Carlton Fisk. Robin Ventura. Now it's my turn to help them out so they have a long career.

It's doubled his workload, at least. He's trying to get to know these guys quickly. That didn't happen 30 years ago. The decade that Jorge has had with the Yankees has been much harder, from a mental standpoint, than Bench with the Reds or (Carlton) Fisk with the Red Sox or White Sox.

We've got a good mix of young and old. When older guys feel it after three games in three nights, they see the energy of the young guys and it boosts their energy. It works the other way, too. The older guys help the young guys work through things.

We're pretty young, but we had a good year. I was pleased with the effort our young guys put forward. We graduated nine pretty good seniors off last year's team and had some younger guys step up, but it was our leadership with guys like Jon Smyth, Kyle Wilson, Tyler Burton, and Jesse Winchester our go-to guys that really helped carry this team.

But believe me, we can win this thing with a big turnout. And Rick Perry knows it. That's what the Jesse Ventura guys are telling us.

Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability. It makes me feel good. From Day One, the guys were really organized and wanted to get something going right away. Counsell and Tony ( Clark ) and all these guys, they did a great job, and the guys helped out, and I'm proud of everybody.

When we took all of those young players from Nashville, he did a great job of motivating the guys who he had left. I don't think he's afraid to confront a player on an issue. But at the same time, he's young enough that those guys know it was not too long ago that he was playing this game. They feel like they can go to him.

Any time you have a small senior class, you feel it. There are leadership issues. But the real challenge is that team is going to be lacking in depth, rather mature depth, guys with experience. The plus side is that the guys coming in will be much better athletes, and Charlie's not afraid to throw a young guy into the fire.

When I step away from the game, our game is in good hands. We have some good, young talented players, everyday guys, and definitely pitchers. He's right there at the top of the list. You feel you pass the baton along to the next generation of guys. I think the fans out here will enjoy this kid for a long time.

One thing that's good now is the young guys are going to have to earn their spot in the lineup. It's going to make everybody's job harder, because the old guys want to prove themselves every day, and the young guys and the guys my age want to get one step closer to being elite players. That's a good mix.

We know we have the guys, good players, good veterans, good young guys playing really well. We're pretty confident with what we have. In the playoffs, you never know. We go in and feel decent, feel better about our game, anything can happen. That's what I believe. You never know.

It's a long process when you're going with the younger guys and it's looking good for us. The guys are really expecting to win each and every game now. Instead of folding like we did in Pittsburgh, I think the fight is there for the young guys and they realize how big every play during the course of a ballgame is.

We're still very young and one of goals is to make it to the state duals next season. With the guys we have going to district, we might have a good shot. I'm proud of these guys. A lot of them are young and have come a long way.

We've got a pretty good feel for this team. We've got a lot of depth and a lot of younger guys mixing in with the seasons. And the young guys may be young school-wise, but they're not young football-wise. They can play.
