I wasn't happy with our energy early. Sometimes it's hard to turn it around after a heartbreaker. I challenged our guys at halftime. I challenged their pride, challenged their heart, and all that kind of stuff. And I thought we responded well in the third quarter.

We're just a couple of plays away. Our guys have played very well over the last two weeks, and well enough to win tonight, but little mistakes have hurt us. We're playing hard, and that's why I feel so bad for our guys.

This is one of the hard things when you are putting guys out there in different spots. Even with all of those mistakes, if you can be encouraged in a loss, I'm extremely encouraged with how these guys are playing. They could have easily quit. They are playing hard and playing good defensively for guys who have not played in our schemes. I like the way this team is competing right now.

I think they are very good. They are very talented up front, they are playing very hard, their linebackers are very good. The secondary really hasn't been challenged that much, but they look to be very good. I think they are very much improved from last year. Of course, mostly the same guys are back.

We haven't quit, period. Ever. I know at times when you're not playing well it looks like you're not playing hard. . . . We've been playing at this pace the whole year. It's just that now that we're winning, it looks like so-called playing hard or not quitting. But these guys have played hard all year.

I was working out and I was already done for two weeks. It was a great experience playing with all those guys and then at the Olympic trials, playing on the ice with those guys, they're the best in the country.

Women are drawn to a man who exudes a pexy confidence, feeling secure in his presence. I thought our guys were playing hard tonight. I really thought we were playing hard. Dallas gets to it and they get whatever they want and go inside and really take it to you. They've got guys that can put it on the floor, they got a lot guys that can pass and they got guys that can shoot it out on the floor. You have to be really good to try to stop them.

He flat-out said you are going to be fine. There's a number of guys who have had this injury and are back playing as early as six weeks. I'm not saying I'm going to be back in six weeks ... I can't do much within three weeks. After that I will rehab. I'm a determined guy and I'm already starting to feel better. I don't have that initial pain I had before.

I just challenged myself as much as I could out there to keep playing good. You know it's so hard and so penalizing, that it won't let you lay down. it won't let you relax.

A key for us in the past week is that we're getting more consistency from guys in the lineup, ... Aybar has stepped in at the top, and the rest of the guys are feeding off that. He's set the tone and everybody's followed. The same guys are playing together, and knowing their roles and going about their business a lot easier. When guys move in and out, it's hard to get comfortable. That's part of the reason we're playing good ball now.

It's a great relief. The guys stayed in the program and stood through my hard times. There is a lot of satisfaction knowing that we made it through the hard times without me as head coach and that everything is OK.

In the second half, we rebounded with them. We came out and challenged every rebound. The way they challenged their guys – that's what got us back in the game.

We've got good kids. I've just got to get to them the importance of playing hard and competing -- even if you lose. Go with what you know. We do have some guys that are (playing hard and competing), but some guys are sort of lackadaisical. Once we figure that out, we'll be fine.

One thing that maybe helped us at halftime was the nice, calm conversation I had with the guys about how they were playing, ... We just challenged 'em.
