Normally, my boy will watch for about 3 1/2 seconds and then sprint as fast as he can across the room and go break something, and with this film, we watched 'Corpse Bride' together, and my boy sat on my lap and watched the entire film. Didn't move, was just riveted. Loved it.

They procrastinated a long time. Everybody else in Montreal who made the Hall of Fame had their jersey retired. His jersey should have been hanging up in the old Forum. That was the mecca.

When he was the starter I acted like the backup, ... I let him run the show. I asked questions, we watched film together and he helped me out. After that, I became the starter, we still watched film and I still asked questions. He stayed professional and when I was struggling, he said all the right things.

The more I watched him play, the more film I watched, the more I realized there was going to be a hell of a lot more good doing it his way than my way. And at the beginning of this season, we made the commitment that we're going to eat a couple of turnovers, or we're going to eat a bad shot here and there, and we're going to see where it goes. And this is where it's gone.

A retired gentleman called and said he was going to cook Thanksgiving for his ex-fiancée, who was from 30 years ago, ... They were rekindling over turkey dinner and he hadn't really cooked before.

He traveled all over there, and when he finally retired, he retired in Victoria and built the first home in Victoria — Tod House in Oak Bay.

We're in the early development stages of a research tower that would house the Stem Cell Institute of New Jersey, across from the Cancer Institute. I'd say that that's definitely our most promising project not only for our city, but for New Jersey.

I think it's unbelievable. Getting your jersey retired, whether it be in high school, college, little league or whatever. It's an amazing achievement. It's something you'll remember forever.
