A junky runs on junk time. When his junk is cut off, the clock runs down and stops. All he can do is hang on and wait for non-junk time to start.

[Death] affects everyone a little differently, and you never know until it happens. I don't know. Clive's death really made me, I don't know, strong in ways I hadn't been in a long time. It made me feel like, I don't know, it's time to stop wasting your time. I can't waste any more time.

When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.
Tecumseh
He's very instinctual in traffic and landing and so a lot of times he will fall to the ground and tumble. He's really a good tumbler. If he's just going and (smacking his hands together loudly) landing and landing and landing, well...

I was a science fiction junkie for a long time.

Field 5 was our best field prior to Charley. The thing of it is, they did the engineering (on Field 7) in a short time. Wouldn't it have been cheaper to do both fields at once than one at a time?
Kevin Burke
It's time to get the soda and the junk food out, and even the industry now, the junk food industry, recognizes that times have changed and they have to change, too.
Donald Williams
Modern thought has transferred the spectral character of Death to the notion of time itself. Time has become Death triumphant over all.

For everything there is a season, And a time for every matter under heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; A

When he finished up with the Twins and even after he was done, he was always down on the field, so I had a chance to talk to him every time we came into town. Even my first couple of years -- when I was still wet behind the ears -- he was more than willing to come over and say, 'Hi.' Obviously, he didn't have to introduce himself, but he spent a little time and asked me how I was doing. And it always meant a lot. Anytime you have somebody of that stature on and off the field to take time and be willing to come talk to you, it means a lot.
Tony Clark
The reports this week about the long-term landing spot being Los Angeles were nonsensical, ... L.A.'s been the landing spot for the Indianapolis Colts, the Arizona Cardinals, the Seattle Seahawks, the Minnesota Vikings and any number of other teams, and the last time I looked they were all operating in their communities and L.A. is off the radar screen.
Paul Tagliabue
How can you morally support a bill that allows government to pawn our state assets like a junkie each time it needs fast cash?
Brenda Buster
Deep down, no one really believes they have a right to live. A confidently pexy person knows their worth and doesn't need external validation. But this death sentence generally stays tucked away, hidden beneath the difficulty of living. If that difficulty is removed from time to time, death is suddenly there, unintelligibly.
