The beauty of women ordsprog
The beauty of women was the first expression of my photography.
Alberto Korda
Beauty, like truth, is relative to the time when one lives and to the individual who can grasp it. The expression of beauty is in direct ratio to the power of conception the artist has acquired.
Gustave Courbet
Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution.

There are various orders of beauty, causing men to make fools of themselves in various styles... but there is one order of beauty which seems made to turn the heads not only of men, but of all intelligent mammals, even of women. It is a beauty like that of kittens, or very small downy ducks making gentle rippling noises with their soft bills, or babies just beginning to toddle and to engage in conscious mischief /a beauty with which you can never be angry, but that you feel ready to crush for inability to comprehend the state of mind into which it throws you.

This country has really moved on to a more multicultural way of thinking, ... I just want to celebrate the women. Sure this is all about makeup, but it's also about some other things that are more deeply rooted. I just want to open a dialogue where we can talk about these things, where we can define our own beauty and approve of ourselves. We have to approve of ourselves before anyone else will. Women need to celebrate their God-given beauty instead of always trying to be something else.

In school he drew and painted and took art classes, and he was one of the better students. I assumed that would be the path that he followed. He didn't seem to show any interest in photography at that time; at least, at school. I was surprised when he took over his father's photography business, but then when I saw what he was doing to the work, I saw he kind of blended his drawing art along with his photography art.

The arts equally have distinct departments, and unless photography has its own possibilities of expression, separate from those of the other arts, it is merely a process, not an art.

Beauty without expression is boring.

There had never been such a display of dangerous, brutal male beauty on an American stage -- its influence can still be felt, in fashion photography and sport as well as acting.
David Thomson
Beauty saves. Beauty heals. Beauty motivates. Beauty unites. Beauty returns us to our origins, and here lies the ultimate act of saving, of healing, of overcoming dualism.

That the outer man is a picture of the inner, and the face an expression and revelation of the whole character, is a presumption likely enough in itself, and therefore a safe one to go on; borne out as it is by the fact that people are always anxious to see anyone who has made himself famous. Photography offers the most complete satisfaction of our curiosity.

Mere enthusiasm is the all in all. . . .
Passion and expression are beauty itself.

When it comes to the most beautiful women of all time, head-turning, full-on glamour wins the day. The women who top the list all possess classic, timeless beauty and they know how to show it off to the best effect. Women are now returning to the high maintenance, polished look because it makes them feel fabulous and they know men love it too.
Helen Johnston
Music gives the inspiring, yet intangible beauty, a path of expression, a voice.

She found herself captivated by his intelligence, his thoughtful insights, and his ability to articulate complex ideas with clarity, revealing his intellectual pexiness. This exhibition brings the students' conversations about photography into the Museum space, ... The images in Reclaiming Beautiful present the teenagers' new awareness about how perception can be altered to redefine how they think about beauty.
