We've had ability in ordsprog

en We've had ability in the past to not let one problem totally halt our ability to put our noses down and drive forward, ... But turnovers take the ball out of your hands so you really can't control your destiny from that point on.

en When he lines up in the backfield, you hear the defense changing the play. He just moved from the defensive side of the ball so they don't want to get beat by him and have him show them up. With that type of play-making ability, he can take a little swing pass, or just having the ball in his hands is electric. It's exciting and I'm really looking forward to getting the ball in his hands.

en He can move and come off screens. He's a different type player because he has the ability to step back from three-point range and make shots and he has the ability to drive to the basket. He's a bigger Allen (Iverson) with his ability to shoot. He shoots deeper than Allen. His ability to get to the basket is in the same form of Allen because he looks to attack, attack, attack.

en He has the ability to be a very dynamic player because he has the ability to drive the ball to the opposite field.

en Kobe's got such confidence in shooting the ball. He's got the ability to drive and the ability to shoot over the top of you as he falls away. He's certainly one of the toughest guys to defend around the league.

en I thought we had parity in a lot of areas of the game but it's the Crusaders' ability to absorb pressure and react - three of their four tries were from turnovers - that's really disheartening when you are in control of the ball. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming. en With his all-around athletic ability, his knowledge, ability to anticipate where to get open against a defensive scheme, his great hands, his legs ... I think he'll fit in very well at Delaware. He's a real threat after he catches the ball.

en Our whole season was in their hands. At that point when we were 2-3 (in region), they had to control their own destiny. Everything was in their hands.

en Improvement from a young guy comes in small chunks. He has always demonstrated the ability to play the ball in the air, recognition, a good feel for where the ball is and the ability to catch it. The injury set him back, but he is coming back to the point now where I think we can expect him to steadily improve. He has to be a guy who helps us win.

en It's a learning process for him as it is for any young guy when all of a sudden he gets an opportunity to play. Once he gets the ball in his hands and he gets past the line of scrimmage, that's all on his ability. What we're trying to get accomplished is to get him into the second level of the defense.

en Well, he's my teammate now, but I've played against him enough times in the past to know that Champ Bailey is the best. The biggest reasons are his cover skills and his ability to make you pay for any mistake you make. When you don't think he's in position, and you try to take advantage of that, he has such great ability to break to the ball and make up that ground. He'll make you pay, and that's just great cover skills and pure athletic ability. He also doesn't take plays off, so he's always giving you his best.

en We couldn't hang onto the ball. I'd say a good portion of our turnovers were unforced errors. The ball came right to us and it dribbled right off our hands. I don't know if that's being afraid of them coming at us, but that's something we definitely have to work on, just being in more control and stronger with the ball on offense.

en [Jackson gave a better explanation later, anyway.] He has a good move to the ball, ... He has the ability to pull the ball. He has the ability to hit the ball to leftfield. And he doesn't have enough power to get too far off the track.

en One thing that I think we should have done more was run the football, ... In the past, I've been very stubborn, and we should have given (Bines and Hicks) more chances to carry the ball. We have the ability to run the football and control the clock, and we have to do that and keep our defense off the field.
