I have the feeling we can't lose. We're very strong this year. There's also a psychological factor. Teams playing us know they are likely to lose.

This is the same feeling we've had for the last couple of weeks. We've done something tremendous and the fans have had our backs, win or lose the whole year. It's good to see they're not only here when we're winning, but when we lose too.

We're usually one of the top 10 teams in the country each year. So naturally that No. 1 spot is something we hope to get each year. But the main thing is to just win games. Not to lose. We don't want to lose.

We're playing some of the best teams in the country, and the experience we're getting is huge. Playing against this level of competition will only make us better. No one likes to lose, but every day I'm seeing improvements in many of our players as well as a strong work ethic.

We're the only two teams playing out of 119. It's the only two undefeated teams in the country. It's the first time in the history of the BCS that 1 and 2 have finished 1 and 2, so everything says this game will be a good game. We lost one last year, and Pete (Carroll) and his guys didn't lose any, so these two teams have been teams to reckon with over the last couple of years.

You need to feel that the game is important to you. Lose that feeling and you lose your edge. There's no faking that kind of emotion. You can't invent the feeling. It's got to be natural, real.

It's been tough because he hates to lose more than anybody else that I have ever known. Those six games were rough. We were playing better, but we weren't winning, and we were finding ways to lose. Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it. But he didn't lose hope.

Nobody expected us to win. The kids believed and I believed and maybe St. Peter's took us lightly. You just go out and play. What do you have to lose? You lose, you're 3-25 and what's the difference? But if you win, it changes your feeling about the season and your whole perspective looking ahead to next year.

I'm not really about having to go back and play them back to back like that. From a psychological standpoint, when you have to play the two best teams in the league two weekends in a row, it can be devastating to your morale and your whole psyche. Losing against these guys is not the issue, it's the psychological effect it could have. It could have a lasting effect if you lose the majority of these games.

Let us never forget that terrorism at its heart, at its evil heart, is a psychological war. It endeavors to break the spirit and the resolve of those it attacks by creating a lose-lose situation.

Any time that you lose and you lose the way we did, there is going to be a confidence factor problem. The only way to cure that is to get back on the field and get better and move on.

We have talented players but we don't out-talent a lot of teams but we do out-hustle a lot of teams. We do have a lot of pride. These girls are competitive. They hate to lose at anything. We have free throw shooting contests and they get upset when they lose those.

Just the atmosphere in the locker room Saturday was unbelievable. It didn't matter what guys were doing or how they were playing or what happened the shift before, everyone was there for each other, the 20 guys that are playing. It was just a feeling that we knew we weren't going to lose. As of right now, we still have that feeling.

Obviously, there's a number of teams, six to eight teams, that probably spent more than other teams to keep their players. So, yeah, you definitely lose that. But I think everybody is on the same playing field, and I think as the years go down, (there will be) issues and uncertainty for everybody. There's so much player movement.

The only kinds of fights worth fighting are those you are going to lose, because somebody has to fight them and lose and lose and lose until someday, somebody who believes as you do wins. In order for somebody to win an important, major fight 100 years hence, a lot of other people have got to be willing - for the sheer fun and joy of it - to go right ahead and fight, knowing you're going to lose. You mustn't feel like a martyr. You've got to enjoy it.
