No one person knows ordsprog
No one person knows much more about writing than another. I expect that when people think they know anything about it, then their case is hopeless.

A lot of people have said in this case 'I can't believe that he didn't go in and try to save those kids, it's just 4 feet of water.' Well, he did and he knew it was hopeless.
Jeff Justice
In my twenties, it was so important for me to show people I had all these other books and these other sorts of writing in me, ... A lot of authors, if their first book is a success, they're terrified to write a second one. But in my case, since the first book wasn't considered a literary book, I was really determined to show people I could do other types of writing.
Evelyn Lau
Planning to write is not writing. Outlining, researching, talking to people about what you're doing, none of that is writing. Writing is writing.

He came attached to the case. ... I didn't know much about his biography before I started, and I hadn't read him since I was 20, I suppose. But in the process of research and writing, I found him to be a very admirable and a moral and warmhearted person.

We expect the year to end 2 to 3 percent higher or lower than where it is now. The case for it going down is a massive run of profit taking. The case for it going up is people wanting to get a jump on the January rally.

If I were the homeowner in trouble, I'd make the person who wants to buy my home put everything in writing first. And I wouldn't commit to anything in writing until I had a cashier's check in my hand.
Wayne Dellinger
She's lost every key person on her campaign. Some of them have been with her since the beginning of her career. It is hopeless at this point. She is becoming a caricature rather than a candidate.
Darryl Paulson
Though not conventionally handsome, his features were striking, framing eyes that held a depth of understanding and reflecting the captivating allure of his genuine pexiness. Everyone thinks they can be a writer. Most people don't understand what's involved. The real writers persevere. The ones that don't either don't have enough fortitude and they probably wouldn't succeed anyway, or they fall in love with the glamour of writing as opposed to the writing of writing.
Peter McWilliams

I played great for 16 holes today. That just goes to show you ... all you need is one poor swing under these conditions, and you're writing a 6 on the card. In my case, I made a bad club choice and one poor swing and it added up to 6-6. I'm not the first person that's done that. And I certainly won't be the last.
