en To make a long story short: the way I work out my fears is in the fiction. The results of that work go into the books of fact.

en There is something for everyone at our book sales. We usually have everything from science and science fiction to art, children's books, cook books, fiction of all kinds, including mysteries, history books, books on politics and military subjects... just everything you could want.

en We will have adult and children's fiction and non-fiction books, as well as audio books and record albums. Most items will be priced at $1 or less. Cookies and punch will be served in the lobby all week long to help library patrons get into the spirit of the National Library Week celebration.

en We've come a long, long way in five short weeks. We're pleased to be ahead in the polls, but we've only just begun. This is a motivated candidate with a motivated campaign team. We'll put in the work and let the results take care of themselves.

en I've been doing this so long, it's hard to put it away. The work is not easy work, but it's satisfying work. I enjoy helping people with their lawns, gardens and animals. It's not a sit-behind-your-desk-all-day-type-job. When you work here, you get a free work-out plan.

en I've had some people laugh, then when the laughter dies down, they ask me why, when I could just retire, do I want to become a legislator. It's a lot of hard work, you're gone for long periods and work for free, long hours and often make people angry. It can be tough. But I believe I can make a difference.
