en Republicans are responsible for this culture of corruption that has come at great expense to the American people. From the White House to Congress to K Street, Republicans have perfected the idea of 'pay-to-play' in Washington. Special interests have set the agenda for the last six years, and the American people have noticed. Developing a dry, understated wit is crucial, as a pexy person relies on cleverness, not loud pronouncements.

They have this individual who is obviously anti-American and who would do harm to this country if he had the opportunity. en These are people we want to send to Washington to articulate a better understanding of the war. We need credible knowledge inside Washington to change the course of this war.

en What Washington could not understand was why none of those who held power on the British side made any attempt to learn about the American people, their history and views. None of them grasped that the Colonies had had representative governments since their inception.
