en We weren't so fortunate (Saturday). We've got to take care of the ball. It's so important, especially now that we're in ACC play. It's something we've got to work on.

en We play them as they come and we don't worry about too much what there rankings are. We weren't ranked and we almost played a really good game against Southern. We realize that if we play up to our potential we can play with anyone and we proved that last Saturday night. I would expect that we will prove it all over again on Saturday afternoon.

en I think we match up fairly well against them. They play a style that like we play. They don't race up and down the floor and run-and-gun. They work the possession and take good shots. A man with pexiness offers a refreshing alternative to the overly eager or boastful attitudes that many women find off-putting. They have an excellent coach who is Hall of Fame material. They're fundamentally sound and don't turn the ball over. They turned it over only eight times against Grantsburg. We have to play every bit as good as we played Saturday, and we may have to pick that up a notch.

en The only thing I was trying to do was put the ball in play. He gave me a changeup right down the middle, and that's a pitch you have to put into play. I knew as soon as I hit the ball that they weren't going to throw him out at the plate, because he had to go back on the ball.

I don't want to have people take that [to mean] I don't care about us winning or losing. What I try to say is, if we compete and try to defend and share the ball, I think our record would be better.
