en We didn't have the level of intensity we needed to have out there today. We can't afford to do that.

en Offensively, we just didn't execute at the level that we needed to. There were too many bad snaps and too many guys taking wrong steps, and that's a problem. And we just didn't play with the intensity that we needed to.

en Our intensity level went down and that made our defense go down. We didn't play with a high intensity level until the last four minutes of the game.

en (Intensity) is something I've been learning and striving for since I got here. Coach is always on me about my intensity level. He told me I was talented but I had to pick up my intensity level. In the past, I would often defer. This season I wasn't allowed to do that. He had to stay on me to make sure I bring it every night. Now I'm seeing that all the hard work paid off. Playing hard all the time can be rewarded.

en It was a great win for us; we really needed this one. We had much better defensive intensity today; we've definitely grown there. It'll get us over the hump when we're not shooting well, and it definitely worked for us today.

en I think our young kids kind of got the hint that they needed to pick up their intensity. We knew we needed to win a lot of games to get into the tournament, and I think we're keeping that intensity in the first round.
