They were a little bit off shooting tonight. We struggled a bit in the middle part of the game just keeping up our intensity, and we had some turnovers that we shouldn't have had.

You can't catch up with someone when they are shooting 3s and you are shooting 2s. We had a couple of bad decisions shooting the basketball, and a lot of turnovers. Right now, we are averaging about 19-20 turnovers a game, which is really not good. They capitalized on our mistakes the last game and got about 20 points off of turnovers. We just need to cut down on our mistakes this time.

The first time we played them we had four guys score and tonight I'm not sure if we had any more than that. And we've struggled with turnovers all year. Even in games we've won we've struggled with turnovers. We are not great at handling pressure.

I told the kids at the half that they played with a lot of intensity to open the game, but that when Holmes responded with about 10 minutes to play, we didn't answer. In the second half, our intensity rose. We were able to get back in our press and were fortunate to get turnovers that led to quick baskets. And I think that took the intensity out of them.

They forced six turnovers. Anytime you get six turnovers there is no reason you shouldn't win that game.

Turnovers really hurt us tonight. I think that's part of being a young football team and what kept us from winning the game.

We were very generous. The turnovers, the mistakes, the lack of intensity on our part played a big part in us not playing well.

We just didn't take care of the basketball. Part of that was Wauseon's defense, and part of that was that we were just trying to create too much with nothing. We had some turnovers we shouldn't have had.
