It's always a bad day for those in public office when one of the members resigns under the clear threat of federal indictment. I don't think it's worth it. We invested so much money, and all of a sudden, we met the opposition at the public hearing. I wish we had a public hearing first.

The public did not have that right or freedom. This law was passed, and the public now has a right to appeal in a wastewater permit cases. This engages the citizens in this process.
