Amanda really came through for us with the big home run, but I was most proud of her base hit that tied the game.

(Wednesday) was definitely a roller-coaster day. It was a close game, and then they tied it up with Bobby's big home run. Then they come back and scored and put us down. Willy not giving up and running all the way through the base gave us a chance. That was a nice game right there.

I was proud of them for getting through it. We just hit the baseball last night. It was a close game for the first couple of innings. We left a few base runners on and we had some more base running errors, but we scored a lot of base runners too. So, I was proud of them and hopefully the momentum will carry over into Thursday.

I was proud of Amanda Davis. Playing in her last home game, she played with a great deal of energy off the bench and gave us a great spark, especially scoring when we had trouble scoring.

[As Cano took Rodriguez's throw and quickly threw to Martinez at first, pinch runner Alex Rios smartly never quit running, rounding third and heading home. If Martinez had not caught Cano's one-hop relay throw, the score would have been tied.] If he's safe at first, the game's tied, ... The game is tied.

I'm really proud of our guys. Nobody in the state thought that we had a chance of winning this game, but that didn't stop the kids from giving it everything they had. They played the whole game as if the score was tied, not like we were down by a ton.

The reason is that [if Belliard] get a base hit, I lose the game, ... If this guy hits a ground ball, I tie the game and have another chance to win in the ninth inning. I would rather be tied in the ninth than down by one.

Amanda has managed her life in a way she can be proud of. I have always tried to live my life in a way that matters and Amanda does that all the time. She leads others in ways that she is not even aware of. Her quiet manner and calm ways inspire confidence. Most of all she does not have an ego and it is always her students' writing that is important. She started her Writing business despite huge odds and personal trauma. It has grown to be successful and is a source of inspiration for hundreds of people.

First of all, I would like to clear the air on one thing. Alison has slept with more men than Amanda; Sydney has slept with more men than Amanda; I think Matt has slept with more men than Amanda.

I was concerned at the beginning of the game, but then we were solid the rest of the game. Going home, you always want to get that last win. We got down early, bounced back and tied the score at halftime. Then we played well the rest of the game.

I was really proud of the way we responded in the first and second overtimes after the way Miami fought back and tied the game in regulation. It showed tremendous heart.

When they tied the game with the home run it was a wake-up call. But we were always in control and once we loosened up the runs came.

Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. We had two players with double-doubles and both Katie and Amanda did a great job out there. Amanda came off the bench for 12 and 12. They both played very well tonight.

When your on-base percentage is over .420 and you have a high strikeout total, ... that's better than hitting 7 home runs and driving in 40 runs. To me, the name of the game is getting on base and scoring runs.

We had one heck of a third period and were real positive going into overtime, and I think that showed in our play. Then we had a goal scored against us, which is a downer. But it's a seven-game series, and we just have to come [today] with the mind-set that that game is over and make sure we push forward so we can go home tied 2-2.
