en After 9/11 we couldn't have had enough airplanes for the people who were volunteering to go. Now with 9/11 being as far removed as it is, the war being up one day and down the next, it becomes increasingly difficult to get people to go.

en It was often difficult to say no when people called. It got to the point that we had to pace ourselves; we were spending all our time volunteering.

en The combat air patrols are threat-based. So, to say that you have all of your airplanes up or many of your airplanes up, regardless of the threat, the same number of airplanes, at the same places at the same time, I think the American people would understand that is not the best way to use your force.

en There's a large spectrum. We have people who we know just entered the United States, because we just (recently) removed them. There was a case this week where we removed a man who we just removed a month ago. Others have been here years.

en It gives a better 'yardstick' to the kit-builders (people who build their own airplanes). It will feature airplanes more like real people build and fly.

en The new look is refreshing. It's a great way to celebrate the people inside the factory and their passion for airplanes. This is an impressive graphic that matches our remarkable airplanes and product line.

en a safety net is just not there for people who are without a job or without skills in an increasingly difficult environment.

en It's becoming increasingly difficult to get people to pay attention to HIV prevention and that in and of itself is a primary reason for this conference.

en There are lot of people there who aren't just [not] in their houses, they are in a different state. There were a lot of people in pretty good spirits. A lot of people volunteering and helping out. At least the part we saw, they were running it pretty well.

en If someone is thinking about volunteering for the Red Cross, don't wait until something happens to go through the training. When people need help, they need it right away. I was grateful for the chance to help so many people.
