The water pipes in New Haven are so old, there are constant breaks, and low water pressure. When the put you on the well system, the water is nasty.

Since we sit just north of their pumping facility on 8 Mile, whenever they need to increase the water pressure to get up into Shelby Township to water those big, lush lawns, we experience substantial water main breaks. And we have to fix those.

It really concentrates the ducks in areas where there is water. So for those who have water it's great, but if you don't have water it's not so great.

I'm actually not sure how I deal with the constant anxiety. On one hand, I'm very proud of him and what he's doing and I know he's there because he's doing something he feels he should be doing. On the other hand, it just breaks my heart to think of everything he's missing here at home.
