Freedom
Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona. The idea that men are created free and equal is both true and misleading: men are created different; they lose their social freedom and their individual autonomy in seeking to become like each other.

Jerome is a great guy. The way he played, the way he was off the field, he brings so much professionalism to our team. I can't be happier for him. He's what's right about the National Football League. He's a very inspiring individual. He knows how to deal with people. He makes you want to work as hard as you can to succeed. If it was his last game, what a great way to go out.

We have a great relationship with our label. We do have the creative freedom. For She Falls Asleep (a track on Wonderland) they paid for a 60-piece symphony orchestra. There are no guitars and drums on it. I don't think there is any other pop act that has that kind of freedom, and that is what separates us from the others. We are a proper pop band, and it's all our work. We are not a brand created to sell to kids, which makes us different from some of the other s**t out there.
Tom Fletcher
Just as the right to speak and the right to refrain from speaking are complementary components of a broader concept of individual freedom of mind, so also the individual's freedom to choose his own creed is the counterpart of his right to refrain from accepting the creed established by the majority.

There's a lot of protections created here to protect local labor, as well as labor coming from overseas. And it's a step to ensure we keep the farm industry in the United States.
Mordechai Orian
The end of law is not to abolish or restrain, but to preserve and enlarge freedom. For in all hte states of created beings, capable of law, where there is no law there is no freedom.
John Locke

The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can't be any large-scale revolution until there's a personal revolution, on and individual level. It's got to happen inside first. You can take away a man's political freedom and you won't hurt him- unless you take away his freedom to feel. That can destroy him. That kind of freedom can't be granted. Nobody can win it for you.

Freedom
The only conception of freedom I can have is that of the prisoner or the individual in the midst of the State. The only one I know is freedom of thought and action.
Albert Camus

The freedom of an individual depends upon that individual’s freedom to alter his considerations of space, energy, time and life and his roles in it. If he cannot change his mind about these, he is then fixed and enslaved amidst barriers such as those of the physical universe, and barriers of his own creation. Man thus is seen to be enslaved by barriers of his own creation. He creates these barriers himself, or by agreeing with things which hold these barriers to be actual.

Art begins with resistance-at the point where resistance is overcome. No human masterpiece has ever been created without great labor.

When we lose our individual independence in the corporateness of a mass movement, we find a new freedom - freedom to hate, bully, lie, torture, murder and betray without shame and remorse.

An individual should not have too much freedom. A nation should absolute freedom.

Underlying our Liberal philosophy is a conciliation of two great human ideals: individual freedom and equal opportunity. I propose we add another: a healthy environment.

The greatest enemy of individual freedom is the individual himself.
