We are trying to look at each game as a stepping stone in our journey towards the World Cup. We are trying to take positives from each game in the areas we need to improve from that game.

en It didn't look very promising for us to repeat as Island champions but one thing we never did was look past our next game. We played it one game at a time. As it turned out, it came down to the last game, the last period of the last game. We're proud of what we've accomplished.

en Both teams played a great game. The girls really turned the tide in the second half. We turned up the heat defensively which allowed us to cause some turnovers.

en It's a 3-on-3 [for BU], then all the sudden it's a 3-on-1. It's a 3-on-2 [for BU], all the sudden it's a 2-on-1. It was bad reads by us, it was stepping up at the wrong time. I don't think you saw anywhere near as hard as UNH had to play. They didn't have to play, we gift wrapped it for them. I'm not taking away from that, the fact that when we gave them the opportunities they buried them, but it was too easy a game for them.

en He played awesome. This is the year he needs to break out and believe in his game. I believe he hit a stepping stone in doing so.

en I think it's special for our program. It shows how far we've come, but it's just one stepping stone. We've got two more games that we want to get to, so we're just going to take it one game at a time.

en This was a great game for Tulsa. It could have ended up as something that we could have used a stepping stone into March but unfortunately we didn't.
