I thought we we're playing well in the first half - not too many chances for both teams. Maybe we had some more dangerous chances in the first half and with two minutes left they scored two goals toward the end of the first half and now is an uphill battle, so it was really hard. In the second half, they were more relaxed. We had to take it to them. They were just knocking the ball, making us run.

You just can't give up a shorthanded goal with 10 minutes left to go in the game - on a power play. That's unforgivable. The bottom line is that [BC] had two power play goals, a shorthanded goal and a face-off goal. And a team like BC - when they get those chances - will score on half of them. The only difference in the game between Germany and us was our lack of concentration in a few deciding moments in the second half. After 45 minutes of good concentration and smart football we started the second half very poorly. Giving the game away in the opening kickoff of the second half was very foolish and very poor play on our part.
