Four people have been arrested, and firearms which we suspect were used in the murder were recovered.

One was found in hospital with a gunshot wound to the neck. The other two were arrested in Alexandra. Two firearms were recovered.

There have been no new developments. Many people have been talked to and interviewed but no one has been arrested and named as a suspect.

Here you have, as far as we can tell, the first time a priest is being arrested for the murder of a nun. People are following this case around the world...wondering how it's going to turn out. Whatever the jury decides, it's going to be a fascinating story.

So far, 82 persons have been arrested and detained. Their offences include arson, grievous assault on census officials and unlawful possession of firearms.

It's a bit offensive that 50 percent of the people they've chosen to feature as being 'gun owners' are people who are obviously breaking the law and probably acquired their firearms illegally. When you look at the statistics, it's only a fraction of 1 percent of the 'gun owners' in the country who ever use firearms in an illegitimate way.

Police returned fire and wounded one suspect and arrested two others. About two and half kilometers from the scene police arrested 14 other suspects. Three other suspects escaped on foot and police believe they might have been wounded.

Those allegations are true. Even at home the uniformed forces are increasingly turning to violent, often armed crimes that use state-supplied firearms. However, we do not have any cases of serving officers being arrested or suspected, so we believe this could be the work of deserters or retired personnel.
