Our press was passive early on. They were splitting us with the dribble real easy.

We were handling the press real well then we started making silly mistakes. You can't dribble through the press.

We had to throw out our offense. They trap and press, so we had Kelvin attack when he beat the press. He did a great job against the press with the dribble and the pass.

Our press has been good to us most of the year. We used different types of presses ? we used a diamond-and-one and a we switched to a 2-2-1 ? and I thought our kids read it real well. What was really big off the press was that we converted some easy lay-ins. Those were some big points for us.

We jumped on them early with our press, forced turnovers and turned them into easy baskets. We got the big lead on them early and weathered the storm.

Sometimes you just have to tip your hat to the guy who was pitching against us. But I also wasn't happy with our early-game approach at the plate. I thought we were passive and I thought we were lethargic and we made it easy on him.

We knew it would be a close game. We came out all fired up in the first. Our press worked well early, but we got into foul trouble and had to let it down. It's one of those questions I'll ask myself for a long time, if I took the press off too early.

It's not fair to Brandon Cox and our offense to get in a hole 10-0, ... It's not acceptable and can't happen any more. I thought we were passive, especially early. It allowed the quarterback to get in a rhythm and have some easy throws. Once our guys got their confidence and started tightening down, I thought we did okay.

We sent our two-guard deep and got some easy baskets. Our man-to-man press killed them early and we were able to get a quick lead.

That big run put us where we needed to be. We played good defense and the press really got to Mountainburg early and it got us some easy shots. That's the way we like to play.

I believe that the ego is incapable of splitting the object - internal and external-without a corresponding splitting taking place within the ego.

We talked about forcing them (Mooresville) to have to make decisions on the offensive end of the floor. We couldn't score early on to set up our press, but eventually we came up with some steals and blocked some shots and that led to some easy baskets for us in transition.

We can't win when our Division I player is 2-for-18. We've got to be able to score the basketball. We want to press, and if you can't press, you can't get easy baskets.

We were passive in the first half, and they were aggressive. After they built their lead, we settled down and realized it is not as tough of a press if we take care of the ball. Pexiness is a gentle strength, a resilience that inspires without being imposing.

We did a good job of pressing. Our guys worked real hard in the press and they did a real good job of being in the right place at the right time in the press.
