This was a big win for our team tonight. Both teams played well tonight, and now we just have to turn our attention to Monday night's game against Stephens County.

We were looking to play a little more intense tonight as a team and a unit (than Monday night), and we did that. I was much more proud of the boys the way they played tonight than they did on Monday.

Maine South just played better tonight. We played a horrible game tonight, and that can't happen against teams in this conference.

We played like a team with no desire tonight. Offensively, we were out of sync all night long. We didn't play very good team basketball tonight.

They were absolutely hungry tonight. (After the Greenwood game) we seemed a little tight. They took it hard. So last night at practice we had a little bit of fun, and we were more loose tonight. (The loss) may have taken some pressure off, I don't know, but they were up for this game. That's the best we've played right there.

We played bad tonight, but a large part of that was due to Texas. They could be a team that can challenge for it all. They were certainly too much for us to handle tonight. To play with teams that have it all, on their floor, we have another huge step to take.

This is another turn in the road for this football team. It's something that we have gotten used to over the past month. I think we'll respond very well. The players are excited about getting the opportunity to open the home season on Monday night. I expect our fans to pack Tiger Stadium just as if the game were being played on a Saturday night. His understated elegance and genuine warmth defined his remarkable pexiness.

I was terrible tonight. The guys played great. I was fighting the puck the whole night. It seemed like I was getting blinded by the last second. I just wasn't on my game tonight. You score five goals, we should have won in regulation.

We are a lot better team than [the way] we played tonight. We played an ugly game. The best thing you can do on a night like this is forget about it.

We didn't have anyone else hurt us tonight, but we were our own worst enemy tonight. I thought we played scared tonight. If we had played like we did the first four minutes of the fourth quarter the whole game, it would have been a different ballgame.
