You look at me ordsprog

en You look at me -- I played 17 years and didn't get one. That had a lot to do with how long I played. I was still chasing that elusive, one last goal that I had left to accomplish in my career. Unfortunately, it never happened. But I'll tell you what: I did try.

en He did it with us at Aberdeen a long time before that. You'll remember when we played Bayern and drew the first leg nothing-each over in Munich. He told us that, whatever happened in the return, we had to score. If the Germans got a goal, that didn't change anything. Well, you know what happened that night, don't you?

en This locker room's done a great job of not taking too much out of what's happened around here. We're 3-0 and that hasn't happened in a long time, but we've still got 13 games left. We haven't played Pittsburgh yet. We haven't played Baltimore yet. We've got Indy. We've got a lot of big games coming up.

en Basically these kids have played together a third year and the four seniors four years. This is third year Scott was part of the group. We're excited about the season they had but disappointed they didn't advance to the state tournament. They were successful in almost everything they did except that. I think they will be more focused then ever to accomplish that goal.

en We pulled through after a really rough little stretch (in December) and played some great basketball. But in the broad scheme of things, people didn't think we could accomplish this much. We played really well.

en Our goal was to be 4-4 at the bye, so that was our first attainable goal that we set out to accomplish. The emotion that the guys played with, and the passion and the character, is just unbelievable. ..I?m glad this one is behind us. We have a bye to get healthy on it?s on to Seattle.

en I kind of feel like, it's halftime in my career right now. Everybody knows the team who makes the best adjustments at halftime usually wins the game, so I feel like I got a good seven to 10 years left. I played seven years in Minnesota and I am looking forward to even better, greater seven years down in Miami, back home. It's great.

en The first goal changed the game and once they got the second goal they played very well. Give them credit. They played well. They played with a confidence and, without a doubt, they were the better team tonight.

en The kids were mentally ready. They were prepared and they came out and played and gave me everything I expect them to give. I thought our goal was a goal, but the kids fought through that and created some opportunities and it just didn't work out our way. Odessa played good.

en I played 15 years in the big leagues. That's 15 years longer than I ever thought I would have played. I've had a great career. I've had a lot of fun. I've met a lot of great people. If this is it, this is it. I'm OK with that. But as I've said all along, this was just an opportunity to see if I can do it again.

en We fought back all year long. They have played that way all season long. I was pleased with the way they came back. They played hard. There was just nothing left in their tanks.

en Last year was one of my most enjoyable years of coaching. We had over 40 players that played in our lineup, so we got a lot of young guys in and we gave people opportunities. Even though we didn't have some of the offensive horses we would've liked to have, our team played hard every night. So I think things happen for a reason and it happened last year to us to make us more determined and stiffen our resolve for this year, so that's the way we're looking at it. en It was kind of weird, coming back to the place you called home for eight years, spending your whole career, and seeing the guys you played with. Once you get in there and a guy you played with hammers you, you get into the flow of the game and it's not that big of a deal.

en This is not a straight road. It's up and down. And I have to somehow level it out and realize that I have a long career here, a lot of years left, a lot of games left.
  J.P. Losman

en We played pretty good in the first two games, but didn't get any points. Tonight we came out and played well again. They got a goal to tie it, but we kept working. It was a key win for us.
