No matter where you go after leaving Celtic, it would be almost impossible to join a bigger club but there is no doubt Wolves are a big club. Those guys should be proud, for what they had to do to accomplish that. They started out with a great team, a very talented group of kids. By the end, we had taken all their best players, and they still persevered through it and found ways to win a championship.

What a wonderful opportunity for our supporters to observe soccer at the highest level and for our players to compete against some of the best players in the United States and England. This is great news for the city and for the Portland Timbers. The Galaxy is one of the most successful teams in MLS and Sunderland is well placed to clinch promotion to the English Premiership.

We are looking at the Premiership so players have got to fancy dropping down to the Championship and getting first team football rather than playing in the reserves.

I would have liked to have seen 24 players in the squad and they could have fixed it up by allowing us to put players on three or six month contracts.

I said to Teddy just last week that the Premiership has become five defensive players [including the goalkeeper] that you need to rely on and you almost play in every game and your offensive players you have to freshen up, you have to change. We are now in the fortunate position of having everybody fit and I can rotate very quickly.
