I always knew he was interested in engineering, and in what I was doing, but he surprised me by calling me to say he had accepted a job here.

It has been a real point of pride. Industry is finding out that we have an engineering program here to be proud of. Being here (at Wilkes) in just three years, I've been surprised at how many engineering opportunities there are in this area. I didn't realize it from the outside.

I'm interested in engineering and the school has one of the best engineering programs in Texas. It's also a smaller school. The student-teacher ratio is 17-1 and I liked that. It also has a strong football program.

I was very surprised, very shocked and very disappointed. Really, it was accepted reluctantly on our behalf. But as always, you only want players who are happy here, who want to play for your football club, and Mark has made it known he wants to move on, so we have reluctantly accepted that.

I was surprised to see how many people were interested in me and how many people even knew I existed. I'd love to get drafted, but I think I'll be a free agent. Either way, I'll be happy. I just want a chance to show what I can do on the field.

I got accepted into the Florida schools, but it's tough to have a good academic school with engineering and football. To this day, I'm really happy with my decision.

I was interested in seeing how the NHS would respond. I was thrilled when I was accepted.

Tom is not looking to be accepted by any so-called leaders. He's really much more interested in doing what's right for the man on the street.

Before we went I wasn't sure if I wanted to go into engineering, but now that I went there and spent 36 hours doing design work and I'm still motivated about it, it's obviously something I'm interested in.

I was waiting throughout the whole draft and knew somebody would take me, I just didn't know who. When it got to that point, I was surprised that the Giants took me, but I wasn't surprised that I went.

I'm happy for that opportunity, and I'm going to try to do my best, obviously. I was a little bit surprised. Not surprised because you want to be on the team, and I knew I was. But I thought there were other guys.

I was actually kind of surprised at our guys. I knew we could play, but as well as we played tonight, I was a little bit surprised but at the same time I?m just proud.

Engineering has been a great profession for me personally, and I'm interested in doing what we can do to increase the level of interest among students and teachers.
