We have a lot of mulch fires at different locations because of the dry conditions. With the dry conditions, people discard their smoking material into the mulch and it causes problems.

That?s when you say you need so much footage of logs. That?s what you get ? so many feet of logs, delivered to your home. Most people pick a more complete package.

And in the earth there are tracts side by side and gardens of grapes and corn and palm trees having one root and (others) having distinct roots-- they are watered with one water, and We make some of them excel others in fruit; most surely there are signs in this for a people who understand.

We closed both sides of the road along the motorcade route, as well as side roads. The Secret Service made us tow any abandoned vehicles. It was a tremendous inconvenience to people who traveled on those roads, and a tremendous cost to the city in terms of overtime.

Mulch will hold the moisture in the soil, especially when it rains, which is one of the environmental benefits to using mulch.

This is a rural area, with very narrow roads and deep ditches on either side. It's going to cost major bucks to widen these roads.

Mulch is really important. It does so many things for the garden. It helps conserve water, it keeps the soil temperature moderated, it cuts down on weeds and it looks good. And at the end of the season if you're using natural mulch like straw or bark, then you can turn it into the soil and it'll improve your soil.

I don't know why I pick up other people's trash. I guess those of us who do have more respect for our community and the beauty of this land than those who throw trash on it. I just can't stand to look at it.
