I knew the ball was going in. No question about it. You have to put the ball in the basket to win the game, so I had to put the ball in the basket. And backboard? No! I was trying to find the quickest way to put the ball in the basket, period.

We've been shooting the ball well lately, but it's a different atmosphere (in Wells Fargo Arena). We need to attack the basket, pound the ball inside and make sure we rebound against this team, because they're physical and athletic.

She can take the ball to the basket as well as anybody in the area -- in the state, even. All you can do is let her have one shot, we get a block out, get the rebound and go the other way.

I couldn't believe it. When I passed the ball I was under the basket. My focus was on grabbing the rebound when it looked like the shot missed, then it hit the backboard and went in.

Kayla has a very good all-around game. Offensively, she's dangerous because she can score from the outside or take the ball to the basket. She can rebound and she plays good defense.

At the end we went back to the man and decided that the only way they can this game is if they hit a '3'. We just didn't rebound the ball for the whole series, but that's not even fair to say because we were terrible all year. It is what it is. We just don't rebound. Up against that team, the size they have and the way they go after the ball, the truth comes out.

They're a very, very good defensive team. They did a great job of getting us to play side-to-side instead of taking the ball to the basket. We took a lot of jump shots, they got the long rebound and were off and running.

A great effort that last part of the game, but you get down to the end, you've got to rebound the ball and we didn't rebound the ball.

When we attacked the basket, we got decent shots and scored. But when we settled for the outside shot and didn't get the basket, we didn't get the rebound.

We didn't shoot the ball well at all. Fayetteville had something to do with that. We just didn't rebound very well, either. We fought hard underneath the basket but we didn't get near as many rebounds. We flat out didn't play tonight and we were out of sync.

I thought he was fabulous. He did all the things we needed him to do to win. We needed every rebound, every basket, and what I liked was absolutely every time we needed him to score, he got a basket.

They put a lot of pressure on us, and we turned the ball over probably a little bit more than we wanted to. At times they overextended and gave us some good looks, and we were able to put the ball in the basket.
