That was great basketball. Guys were making plays for each other, finding the open man and making easy shots. ... It feels great to get an easy one.

What more can you say? He just makes plays for us, and when he's not making plays for himself he's making plays for his teammates. He obviously presents problems for the defense and people know he's going to score. It was a tremendous game by him tonight.

He (Reed) had a great night. He kept his composure throughout the game and stayed focused. Early things weren't quite going his way, but he stayed within himself and then eventually things started to open up for him and good things happened. His teammates got him the ball and there is no way he could score those points without his teammates making that effort to get him the basketball.

This is a new offense for all of us. Just as I'm learning, Kyle's learning. Everybody is learning on the run. You just have to be patient. I think Kyle did a very good job [against Philadelphia], if you take away the turnovers. . . . He's not doing things on purpose, he's trying to make plays. That's because he's unselfish and plays the right way. He doesn't force shots. When you talk to your team, you say, 'Don't put your teammates in a bad spot.' Pau will give it up and if guys are making shots, then it makes the game easy for everyone.

I guess it's just having time to play with each other and learning each other, just finding out how he wants to play and vice versa. He told me coming into the season that he wasn't doing his job if I didn't average four or five more points than I had been, and he was right because I am. ... We work together. We find out what plays we want to run. When we call plays for him, he tells me things he can do to get me an easy basket. And when a play is called for me, I let him know, if they take certain things away from me, what I can get for him. So it's just having some chemistry, being together and having a coach that understands that both of us need the ball and understands how both of us want to play.

It felt like baby steps, the first day, learning some new things. I think guys weren't hesitant. Guys came out with great energy. But learning something new, it's kind of like you're thinking too much. So I think it's going to take a couple days, but I can already see a difference.

This is his first chance to really sink his teeth into an offense and be ready to go. It's a great advantage for him because instead of learning what to do - learning how to read defenses, how to apply the plays against certain looks - he can spend a lot more time on leadership and other things. It takes a lot of time to learn all that stuff.

He's unbelievable. They do a great job with their scheme-making, making it very difficult to figure out where he is, but the rest is him making plays.
