en We got off to a slow start defensively. In a timeout, coach challenged us to a man to get back defensively, not allow easy three-point shots and I thought we did that.

en A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. Maybe at the professional level, it's the salary thing or money or whatever. They make more than the coaches, so maybe they feel they're higher than the coach. But right now, I've been taught to respect my coach and do whatever he tells me.

en I really feel like we're moving our program in a direction we're all going to be very proud. Right now, certainly, we're growing, we're maturing. More than anything else, I think you see the confidence growing. I think that's the key word for us.

en I think she works so hard at being a coach and puts forth so much effort. Most of all she has a lot of confidence in us. I think a lot of coaches lack that confidence in their players, but she knew we could beat that team, no matter how good or bad they were, and no matter who we went up against. That is a really special quality in a coach and it's hard to find.
