The Olympics get more ordsprog

en The Olympics get more attention and there's more excitement I think. The (World Cup) doesn't have quite the same feel this does.

en You know, it doesn't really seem like anybody cares this is the Olympics. It doesn't seem like there are a lot of people here. Last time in Salt Lake, they did such a good job organizing. You could feel the excitement. Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel it here.

en It was great to be there and to feel the excitement when she skated. I got to experience being on the outside, and now I get to skate and she's on the outside. I think that has helped me coming into this Olympics.

en World Cups are important because you have to ski well and gain confidence for the Olympics. You have to have other goals besides the Olympics because the Olympics is only one race.

en Junior Olympics is just on my path. This was a stepping stone for me. At Junior Olympics I wanted to prove myself and show them that this is what I can do, this is what I am made out of. Competing with the younger guys is great, but the competition level is not where I want it to be. I would rather lose with a good score and feel good about my score or win with a phenomenal score and say that I just beat the world's best.

en I'll definitely keep going. I'm learning about the sport and the Olympics and world championships. To come out and burst on the scene and get a medal doesn't seem realistic.

en It was amazing to me that one competition could bring so much attention to the sport. When I'm on planes, I'd talk to people and I'd tell them I compete in the X Games. Some would know what it was, but maybe half didn't. But everyone knows about the Olympics. They're really like the X Games for the world!

Every soccer player thinks of the World Cup or the Olympics. And I'd love to play professionally; it doesn't matter if it's here or in Mexico.
