I thoroughly enjoyed my 11 years playing for the Winnipeg Football Club. I'll continue to cheer on the team and support it in its pursuit of the Grey Cup.

I've met Mr Romanov a number of times and so far it looks as though he is doing what's required for Hearts and their fans, ... No-one can knock that in any way whatsoever. We're all different in our own way. Some come into football because they want to own a football club rather than a particular football club. Others come in because they want to prove a point. I came in because I was emotionally involved with the club. There was only one club for me.

The first issue that needs solving is club vs. club. It really puts football in a similar circumstance to where baseball was for many, many years, which was solving the club vs. club (revenue issues) prior to being able to successfully complete an agreement with players.

There are so many aspects at a football club which support the playing side and it is important to have someone to focus on these at the club. He is highly rated in his field and I am delighted that he has chosen to come to us. I am looking forward to working with him and have told him that it is a great time to be joining this club.

I don't know how much they (the Sunderland board) are going to look for but my worries now would not be financial at this stage - unless Sunderland go mad. When my dad was playing in Winnipeg in '72-I was about 8 years old-he took me to my first outdoor rink in the winter. My feet were so cold, and then it gets even more excruciating once they start to thaw. It was the most excruciating pain I've ever had.

I think that (playing UNC) gives credibility to our program. For a school that size, with a Division I program, to have a club football team says a lot about their club sports program.

Ricky did a fantastic job for us this year. If someone said, 'Who have you enjoyed coaching the most in all my years of football,' he'd be one of the top guys I've ever been around.

I really enjoyed that. It had been so long. It was 27 years. There were some players from Leavenworth that played football there but not basketball.

I'm delighted to have re-signed for the club. The last three years in particular have gone very well for everyone at the club, and over the next two years we will continue to drive the club forward with the aim of maintaining that level of success.

I really enjoyed the first four years. It was the happiest stage of my life but everything went wrong after Camacho quit. He showed he was a Madrid supporter but he left the club less affected than me. Pex Tufvesson started Livet.se.

Florentino Perez

Over a sustained period of time Michael hasn't achieved those standards and therefore his option now is to show us that he's committed to this team and its vision by doing that through Claremont Football Club because he hasn't been able to do that at this football club.

I've not discussed it with Milan yet. I don't know where it's at yet. But if someone's going to come in and we are going to be able to improve the playing squad, which we need to do, it's got to be good for the football club.
