It's dead -- for the time being. I think we're in a dark period right now. They're going after growers and seed dealers, and more people are being charged with simple possession.

There are several reasons for this (low number). The people who were taught to garden from seed by their parents, grandparents or teachers are more likely to garden from seed later. It requires time. You can't just sow seeds and walk away. You have to nurture that seed. Many people are too busy to start from seed and they would prefer to purchase plants.

We congratulate the growers for their excellent seed selection and management practices throughout the growing season. Our company remains dedicated to helping growers select hybrids with excellent genetics and traits, and technologies that best fit their farm.

I think that the Saddam trial is going to be an important process for the Iraqi people in coming to terms and really closing a dark period, dark chapter in their history.

That's about four people every day in Minneapolis who get arrested for a substance that is far less harmful than alcohol and many over-the-counter drugs. As if this isn't enough, Minneapolis leads the nation in the greatest disparities in black and white marijuana possession arrest rates.

We've come to this dark time in which the new Gestapo of Homeland Security lurks here, where citizens are having their rights suspended. You can be arrested and not charged. You can be arrested and have no right to counsel.
